Congratulations Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong.

Nominated by President Joe Biden, Jr. to a life-time appointment in the upper echelons of U.S. jurisprudence.

*Daughter of Ghanaian immigrants*, the Harvard and Yale educator judge, if confirmed, will hold a seat on the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

If confirmed, she would be the only Black woman serving on any of California’s four federal district courts *and one of only eight in the country*.
