Born on 21 January 1961, Ms Georgette Djaba was one of 22 children. She excelled in academia and was admitted as a solicitor with the Law Society on the 15 December 1997.

The Executive Team at British Ghanaian-Lawyers Union are saddened by her sudden passing and in honour of her legacy, we leave you all with a heartfelt tribute by the The Rt Hon The Lord and Lady Boateng of Akyem and Wembley.

“Georgette Djaba was a great and good soul! Always kind and generous with her time and talents. Hers was a warm heart and a fine legal mind. She overcame all life’s challenges with an indomitable spirit and unswerving faith in God’s love. Nothing was ever too much for Georgette when it came to the service of the community of which she was a part of. She would speak up and stride out for a good cause as she would for her friends and needy strangers alike.

She would never pass by on the other side of the road. Georgette will be so very much missed. Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences go out to her beloved children and family. May she rest in peace and rise in glory!”

Go well dear Sister!

Paul and Janet The Rt Hon The Lord and Lady Boateng of Akyem and Wembley.
